100% agree. Maybe throw Thomas in there as a run option or as an extra blocker.

Yes, but Devery is about to take the 2 spot. Watch.

That wasn't meant to doubt Devery. If he can catch and run more than 2 routes, he has great potential. Just found it odd when talking about Drew's dream line up, moore was never mentioned.

quote:Surprised? Not really. It's not like he just blew up. He's been in the league for 5 years and still hasn't caught more than 32 balls in any given season. I wouldn't say he's "come around". I'd say he's a role player who's just about maximized his potential.

Will go out on said limb. I don't think he's hit the wall. I too think he can grab the #2 spot.

I'm not going to call Breesus a liar when he talks about D.H. and how he's doing in the off-season. I'll leave that to pdad and unknown

Career Receiving Stats
Year Team G Rec Yds Yd/Rec TDs
2004 NO 1 0 0 0 0
2005 NO 15 22 343 15.6 3
2006 NO 13 32 745 23.3 5
2007 NO 16 20 409 20.5 3
2008 NO 16 32 793 24.8 3
Totals 61 106 2290 21.6 14
Exactly how did he come into his own last year? If you mean by production you could say he came into his own in '06.
You could debate all day long if he's a #2 or #3. I don't think Drew cares as long as he catches the ball.
I think he'd be just as good on any other team as Donte' Stallworth was when he left. I think he'd probably have a little more success seeing that he hasn't had a propensity for injuries and has a better work ethic but still comparable.
I think he's definitely important to SP though as the only true deep threat he can trust. That's a role no one else has been able to fill since he's been here.

Are we really talking shite about Devery when Robert Meachem is still on the roster?

Worthless input. Scurry back to the OT little boy.

What are Robbie's chances of developing at WR? Is he just a return specialist? Has anyone heard reports on Meachum's progress?

Same as last OTAs....doing great, catching everything thrown his way...impressing everyone..yet can't make the field. I hope that changes this season.
