The best part of interview was before the Graham talk when Mickey was talking about draft. He went on and on about how the organization plays everything as close to the vest as possible, and how he won't talk at all about any of their prospects or players of interest. Must have said this 5 different ways refusing to give any info what so ever.

And then Bobby Hebert occurs...

"Yeah but no Mickey, remember last year, the last player that the Saints brought in before da draft was Vacarro, and da Saints surprised a lot of people and picked him.
This year, most people might not know, the Saints last player that dey brought in was OT from Virginia Morgon Moses. I bet he's one of y'all top targeted guys that you don't wanna mention"

fricking bobby

Just incase other teams missed that, why not call it out proudly after Loomis just finished telling you for 5 minutes how secretive he wants everything staying.

We need to be real here. If, in that, we're targeting Moses at #27 (which isn't too much of a reach), then it doesn't matter...there's little chance 1-26 jumps on him.

It's Bobby's job to try and get an answer. Saying who the last player we looked at hardly qualifies as letting any "secret" out the bag. IMO

It's embarrassing that wwl is our flagship station.

If other teams are listening to Bobby Hebert before the draft they are probably picking in the Top 10 FREQUENTLY.

I know, it was just funny in the context of the conversion.

Loomis is so secretive, almost paranoid of tipping his hand in any way. Then Bobby has to jump in like the kid in the neighborhood shouting to everyone at lower school that there's no such thing as Santa Claus the second he finds out.

Me Too bc i don't think the value is going to be there at all with OT late first. Those guys still available being picked are being reached for at that point. I'm not sold on the morgan moses of the world being stud picks.

For me, there's just no need.

I mean, there aren't many holes on this team, but OT is settled.

IF there's faith in Armstead then absolutely no need. Our backups are decent and we can still add a late guy or UDFA's.
