OK, I really believe what others have posted. Just like DeMarcus Ware, and all the gloom and doom about his concussion and he rocked our world, Freeney will rise from his deathbed and play at an elevated (even for him) level. I don't know if they have been playing games, whether they have great drugs, or what, but I just have this bad feeling. At first I bought in to the injury and thought it was the apologists starting early, now I smell sandbagging.

He will be injured and on the sidelines within 5 minutes of the start of the game. We're gonna kick his arse.

I'm in orthopedics and man if that is a true grade 3, there is no way he makes an impact. We have been talking about it all week and no one knows how he could actually be effective, if in fact it is what they say it is. I'm talking Physiatrist, Orthos, Nuero guys..... everyone. If he plays, they lied.

You and me both girl!

I was talking to LSU's team doctor and he said the same thing about a Grade 3 "sprain". Dude should barely be able to walk normally, so if he comes out rushing in his usual bat outta Hell style, I am going to smell a big old rat.

There will be a target on his ankle the size of Peytons head. I say we put in Darnell Dinkins first play and he puts Freeny in a WWF ankle lock and he can get kicked out the game and we'll take the 15yd penalty

I don't think anybody bought into his "hurt" ankle. They prepared for Freeney as if he'd be at 100%. As the half-time performers say, "We won't get fooled againd."

Freeney will be a nonfactor in this game.

I thought the NFL had rules about reporting injuries, they had to be accurate and no playing games. The reason was they didn't want players or teams manipulating the point spread.

It used to be a strategy to fake out the other team, then accusations were made that it was tied to gambling and the NFL made instituted a system.

The Colts will shoot up Freeney's ankle with pain medication and he will play.

That doesn't mean he'll be the same old Freeney. A bum ankle is a bum ankle, whether you feel the pain or not.

The first play that Freeney is in the game, should be run right at him (to determine his ability to hold his ground). The next play should try to isolate him in coverage (to determine his mobility). He should be monitored throughout the game and someone should report to Sean Payton so he knows when calling the plays.
