Are we going to let him rest this week so he can be 100% after the bye? Or do we push him to play this week?

Anything leaking out of practice yet today?

I wish and think he would wait til week 7, but im not the coach or trainer.

But Im sure its a game time decision. Or at least Sean will wait til last minute to report it like he does best.

Usual recovery time from Grade 1 high ankle sprains are 6-8 weeks. I have no idea why there were reports saying it would be 2-4 weeks before he returned.

I think they genuinely feel/felt he could've made it sooner potentially. Otherwise why would you not put him on IR in week 2?

False. Grade 1 is 2-4 weeks. Grades 2-3 could be 6 weeks.

And these things never really go away during the season, do they? Mike won't be 100% all year.

Is Cook back? If so, and with the emergence of both Sanders and Smith last week, and getting Harris more involved in the offense, I’d sit him with the bye week coming up. Don’t sacrifice the long-term for a short-term game we should win.

Fact is longer he rests better chance he has of getting to 100% for rest of season. If he gets out there too early and tweaks it slightly it could send him back to square one.

I’d say rest until after bye if we can. Have him active for the game in case, but try not to use him.

I would save him if possible.

If Cook, Ram, Davenport, and Lattimore play the Saints will win.
