They prefer Justin Evans over him? I thought he had a great camp and I don’t think he saw the field. Is he injured?

Evans was listed as the starting slot guy after CGJ was traded.

He's a 2nd round pick & finally healthy.

Was the gunner on special teams. Got down the field first on every punt but never made the tackle.

He’s a rookie who hasn’t practiced much at all. His time will come

The coaches must be content with the combination of Justin Evans & Alontae Taylor, bc those are the only 2 that can possibly replace CGJ.

Technically Roby can give you snaps as well, but he might get engulfed against the run...he's thin. Evans & Taylor have the muscle for slot.

Some peeps will say PJ Williams, but he really can't at this point in his career. He filled in for CGJ last year & got abused in the slot. He's not quick enough anymore.

He's a hybrid safety...that's what he is now.

Will go down as a way too under appreciated player for the Saints. There was an article last year or year before saying he could have gone after more money but continues to stay with the Saints. Has moved all over the secondary and been a very reliable tackler. I’ll never forget his head injury early in his career and felt his time was over. Saints have definitely squeezed everything they could get from him
