I am with you.

I think it's sad all the haters.

Of course several Louisianans are Saints and LSU fans. For most of us this is awesome.

Before 2006, you couldn't find 1% of the LSU fanbase that followed the saints. FACT. I lived in BR and the common denominator for as long as I could remember was, and I quote, "frick the saints, they suck". If you think less, you are kidding yourself. Once the saints were synonymous with winning, LSU fans use them as an antidote for a bad Saturday.

You must have hung out with different people than I did. All of my friends were both. I rarely met a person that wasn't both. That's dating back to 96 when I started at LSU.

I love it when LSU fans think the Tigers and the Saints are intertwined in a web of footbally sinews.

They aren't.

whodatfan is right man. Ive always been a fan of both but as far all the people around here in Central Louisiana it was the same thing as he said. Before 2009 all the LSU die hards around here hated the Saints.

Are y'all ever gonna let this go?

We could try attacking individual posters who post stupid shite instead of everyone with a certain logo by their name.

You guys talked more about LSU fans than Falcons fans this week.
Doesn't that bother you?

This is such a dumb generalization. 1% my dude? They were two separate things when we were growing up in Baton Rouge. To be honest, LSU pretty much sucked in the 80s and 90s. The Saints had more success when I was growing up with the dome patrol and garbage arse Bobby Hebert. If it wasn't for the 49ers and Rams I think the Saints would have had a playoff victory much sooner.

LSU was Saturday. Saints were Sunday. But I was a fan of both win or lose. And all of my friends and family were the same way. Everyone I knew enjoyed having a professional team in our state. Sure there was bitching about Benson and other things, but every Sunday we tuned in.

If you are unaware of this, you lived under a rock. Maybe you should check the people that you hung out with in BR.

Are you talking about Alexandria? Sorry, he was making his silly generalization about BR. I can't speak for Central LA.

It's not 1%, but you are right on everything else. I'd go more like 7-8%

Why does it have to be city on city hate? We should be more concerned about quieting down these dirty birds.
