Anyone who thinks the NFL does not try and control journalists is struggling to rock a 90 IQ. They cannot stop them form publishing but they can make access difficult which does have an effect on the journalist.

So why wasn't the coin tossed rigged? Was there a conspiracy for Payton not to call three runs instead of passing? Was there a conspiracy for Brees to throw off of his back foot instead of eating a sack in overtime? Was there a conspiracy to make Suh and McDonald so good they dominating the Saints interior line?

I didn’t claim this. I am saying that stating this would not happen by comparing it to the Illuminati is retarded. We all know that powerful entities try to control the narrative. While I don’t think they will be fully successful, I do not write off that they will try and maybe achieve some success

Not a "missed" call but a "Blatant no call" said refs were either incompetent or scared to make call and something should be done about that.
And everything we've already heard already about getting it changed and said there is probably nothing we can so about it.

I will leave you with what I posted in another thread. This will answer all your silly little questions....
THe league finally won, after many years of trying, by getting not one but two teams into the LA market that cares nothing about their football teams. The League needs to prove that their move was right. The League knows the fans suck there and don’t care, so putting LA teams in the SB will enhance their fan base. This is crucial to the marketing of The League.
The League also does not want to see a Saints team in the SB. They slaughtered us for “bounty gate” and cost us a few seasons as a result. The League does not like us, so it had multiple reasons for this fix.
There’s only one way to fix a game and that is through officiating. You aren’t going to get one team to tank, so you put officials in position to make or not make calls throughout games. You find officials form LA, for instance, and put them on the call for an LA team, just like what happened here.
The fix doesn’t always work out, because some teams will get blown out (Chargers). The fix works when two equally matched teams fight till the end (Rams-Saints).

You can post whatever you want. The reality is you're just angry (I get that) and trying to latch on to something to cope (no matter how absurd it is).
The simplest explanation, that is was just a terrible no-call by the officials, is usually the correct one. There is no grand conspiracy. But there's a ton of angry and gullible people in this country today.
