4D chess. There is no downside, yeah I think it's a long shot but if it works out, put the rest of the NFL on notice, Saints are comin.

Yeah he's NOT a franchise player, he's probably not good for the locker room in the long run. But this isn't the long run. This is a month...all he has to do is keep it together for a month and he's got great shot at a ring. This is what you do if you want to win it all, see a need, fill a need. It's a no brainer of a move.

Shooters shoot guys and the Saints are taking the mother of all shots. Good for them. They have a locker room full of veteran leadership and they have one goal in mind, AB will have to put up or shut up. He's not going to bring this team down.

Since you felt it necessary to start your own thread on this as well, I will just copy and paste why you are wrong:

One of the reasons this team is so strong is due to our incredible locker room and strong character players. We cleared house a few years back due to the bad seeds creating a bad environment. Now we sit here as arguably the best team in the NFL, and this becomes a major risk of upending everything we have built up and accomplished.

Could it pay off and help out our already great offense? Sure. Is there risk involved? Most definitely.

The question is: Is it worth the risk?

Absolutely not. We are not 1 WR away from beating Baltimore. We are already strong enough to do it! What we don't want to do is create chaos and tension that can bleed over onto the field. We don't need distractions. This seems entirely unnecessary and putting our great team and season on the line for a little bit of greed.

Jesus christ, it's a month at most. We're not going to have some organizational meltdown because of an AB signing.

There isn’t a player that would say no to this outside of the WRs he’d take reps from

You can’t disrupt a locker room in such a short period of time for fricks sake

Saints team has clear leaders. He’ll work out or he’ll just get cut. There really isn’t any downside. Not like he going to be a cancer and destroy team chemistry.

He can pretty much talk shite on every other WR outside Thomas. What they gonna do- get mad they losing reps to a Pro Bowl WR?

Psssh. They here to win.

The only one I see is locker room drama prior to going into the most critical part of the year.

Aside from that, no downside.

There are no other threads where the OP is saying it's a good move dipshit. Who made you thread police?

I hope this isn't a contributing factor to the tryout. Also, someone said he isn't practicing.

You either win the Super Bowl or you’re just another loser. The Saints offense needs some balance at the WR position. It has been made clear that there is a gap in talent/skill/etc after Thomas. If he was bracketed or kept in check, there only so many HB swings and TE seams throws you gonna be able to make.

Some of you seem to forget how terribly lopsided this WR corps is. Don’t worry. You’ll be cussing come January when you’re reminded and we seemingly can’t move the ball.

You speak as if you don't know that this dude is a clusterfrick to deal with.

We're not talking about signing another competent WR. We're talking about signing a ticking time bomb. Saints knew what they had WR wise all year, and failed to make a fix.

You ever went driving by the dump and you see that one brilliant piece of something that nobody else could deal with because of that one flaw. But it’d be perfect for your shop or camp?

That’s AB. He at the dump. He got a busted up handle. But you can still sit on him comfortably. When it’s borderline free you can put up with someone else’s junk.

He WAS a cluster frick to deal with for a shite hole organization like the Raiders, or a failing organization like the Steelers, or an uptight, rigid, "Tom and Bill's way" organization like New England.

Let's see how he does in an organization like the Saints first before we start screaming and whining like girls that he's bad for the team.

None of us has any idea how this will play out, but some of you talk like you've been inside every team's locker room

Y’all keep saying there is no downside. But you don’t know that. This isn’t like playing Madden. There are real life consequences when it involves a team. I take it many of you have never managed a group of people before.

It’s not a broken handle. That’s a Dez level defect.

AB has a hole in the exhaust pipe that leaks carbon monoxide and rattles the neighbors windows until they call the cops.

I was all for the Jenkins signing. Hell yeah to signing guys like that. AB is a different level of crazy. Do Not Want!

How do you know? When you were bragging about "managing a group of people" was AB and the Saints Locker Room part of that group? I highly doubt it
