I also won't deny that the Saints offense showed a complete lack of composure in overtime as they had most of the game.
The Saints’ O struggled, no doubt, but that was largely do to the quality of the opponent (see, the Rams are reallly, really good). But they still were in a position to win the game, until the refs flat out stole it.

I would agree that the non-call greatly affected the Saints.
Saints won the toss. Had the ball and control of destiny in OT. Saints take care of business then ... and people are pissed about the no-call, but get over it pretty quickly, I'd wager.
There were still plenty of opportunities to make plays after the Ref-fricking.

At that point the defense had held the Rams to 20 points. That’s good enough for a win. They crumbled on that last drive to allow them to tie it. But had you said the game is tied 20-20 and Brees has the ball with 5 minutes left I say we win that game.
We get that call (Rams only have one TO. They burned one after the Kamara run on 2nd) and we get a fresh set of downs. Run it three times, only 1 TO zaps the clock, and after the FG the Rams get the ball back with about 25-30 seconds left. Could they get into FG range? Sure. But they didn’t cross midfield until about 44 seconds on the clock so it took them a full minute and 10 seconds just to do that. I like our chances

Should have never been in that situation to begin with.
