Bain is pretty much the only guy we could pick who I wouldn’t be happy about. He's a pass rusher without elite explosiveness, with suboptimal measurements, and who won the vast majority of his reps in college with pure power. Imo of all the guys we could possibly pick at 8 he easily has the highest likelihood to bust.
I also don’t see the world where he is a star. I think he could be a very strong run defender who gives you decent pass rushing upside, but never a guy who is truly going to be one of the premier edge rushers in football. I feel like there are so many better ways to go at 8

He's called the most violent DE in the draft. Power speed and bend. I don't have that as a knock against him.
