don’t think Styles will fall. I’m about as sure of that as Love not falling to 8. I think if anyone falls it will be Bain. Regardless, sign me up for CB in Round 2 as long as they don’t go Delane or Downs in Round 1. I’m really liking some of the CB prospects in that early second range. Keionte Scott, Colton Hood, Chris Johnson - all of whom have inside or outside flexibility. So I’d prefer 8 to be WR or Edge. I’d be more than happy waiting on WR until the 3rd round if they could come away with Bailey/Bain in the 1st (maybe Tate or Lemon) and then Hood/Johnson in the 2nd.

I think it’s pretty reasonable Styles could fall
1. Mendoza
2. Reese
3. Mauigoa
4. Love
5. Downs/Delane/Tate
6. Tate/OT
7. Bailey
8 you’ve got Styles or Bain available

frick them for posting this too good to be true crap.

Agreed. But I have to admit that it is possible as the picks they made aren’t crazy or anything.

I tend to agree. It was interesting to watch them pick because Bain was a complete afterthought until KC at 9 and they still didn’t take him there. Kiper said Bain will be an interesting case study because it will be a definitive decision on whether someone with that kind of outlier arm length can be successful.

I think Bain will be a decent player. I just don’t think he’s elite. I think he’d almost be better served gaining a little weight and moving to a 3-technique like a La’Roy Glover. Although his size hurts him there too.

All that said, I think Bain falls in the draft. I know I don’t really want us to pick him.

i'd love this draft, but i don't see Bell dropping to the 3rd round... would rather us get him in the 2nd, and go G in the 3rd

True, but if you can get Styles/ Hood and Bell drops to the 50's-60's then you trade down from the 3rd to get Bell and that's a homerun first 3 picks.

Picking up another 2nd/ 3rd or turning our 3rd into a 2nd would be huge considering the value and impact of possiblly getting 3 immediate starting level players.

I wouldn't even have an issue giving up picks to get those picks.
ex. trade extra 3, 4 etc to move up and lock Hood and Bell up.

All 3 are starters.

We have a great opportunity with #8/#42 and knowing that we have a very weak schedule next year means our picks will be a good bit higher. We should be looking at our remaining picks and 2nd-4th next year to get the best impact players.

Keep: #8/ #42

Potential trade:
#73/ #132/ #136/ #150/ '27 2nd/ '27 3rd/ '27' 4th/ Werner

Turn some of those assets into a high 2nd and another player like Jordyn Brooks and we are loaded.
