With 6 games left, things are getting close for 2 records to break in game 16 (week 17)
All time passing TDs:
Manning - 539
Current front-runners:
Brady - 531
Brees - 528
- The likelihood is that its gonna take more than 3 games. It would be interesting if Brees can somehow manage 9-10 TD passes going into MNF vs the Colts
- Honestly Brady is slowing down. This will be broken by brees first IMHO
Single Season Receptions
Harrison - 143
Brown/Jones - 136
Current front-runner:
Thomas - 94
- Fun fact, MT is #5 on the list at 125
- That being said, 9.4 receptions per game through 10. He needs 50 more to break the record. That's a little over 8 receptions per game to hit it. It'll be close
Single Season Receiving Yards
Johnson - 1964
Jones - 1871
Rice - 1848
Current front-runner:
Thomas - 1141
- 114.1 average; on pace for...1825.6. He needs 823 over 6 games (137.17 YPG)
- This is a longshot, but consider this. Brees has been back for 3 games and his average in those games have been..126 YPG

I love this, and hope that all come to pass. But I hope that Sean is not keeping up with these. Our offense stalls when we start trying to force things to get records.

Sean could be trying to get CGM the record or oblivious to it, but neither would change anything about how we throw it considering he is our only good receiver.

MNF vs the Colts
Brady plays the Bengals the day before. So that record is going down before MNF.

Bottom line with the career passing TDs and Tasing yards..... Whoever plays longer will be #1 in both

I thought Brees' career total was 525, not 528.

Wow, forgot how close that race was. Too bad for Drew he went out injured. He could have probably broken the record on Thanksgiving night

Would have either already broken it or would have been broken this week
