This shitty board finally posted about the cap increase. Can’t we just stick to discussing the Saints hatred of over rated LSU players?

Sure.
Man, I just don’t understand why the Saints refuse to draft LSU players when the school annually puts out quality & quantity that would help solidify some of their positional groups like all three of their NFC rivals have already recognized. ???
Oh well, I’guess I’ll just live with being tOSUsouth.

They don’t “refuse” to draft LSU players.

I love Lattimore an his potential is off the charts but to say he is better than PP at this point is just dumb.

I'm just saying this. If there is an effort by the FO to stay away from LSU players then it can only be for one reason.
That reason being that being less than 100 miles away from Baton Rouge I'm sure that the Saints do not need or want there new draft picks hanging out with their college friends even on the weekends.
It would be real easy for a few college kids to shoot down to New Orleans to hang out with one of their old buddies.

With that being said the cap has increased about 10 million a year for the last 7-6 years while the roster has not increased.
That is why paying a QB $25 million a year is no big deal now. Say you give a QB 4 years/100 million. If you increase 10 million a year that is like knocking 40 million off of today's cost.
Or saying that in 2018 25 million of 177 million-14.2%
2019 25 million of 187 million-13.3%
2020 25 million of 197 million-12.6%
2021 25 million of 207 million-12.07%
