LT - Armstead
LG - Peat
C - Unger
RG - Warford
RT - Ramczyk

With Leonard backing up the Tackle Position and Clapp backing up the 3 interior positions? Is this the end of Harris and LeRibeus? We need someone to fill the Kelemete swing O-lineman role. Can Clapp be that guy?

I think Bushrod will be the first backup at Tackle & Guard

I think Peat is first backup at LT if Armstead gets hurt again. Bushrod would be backup LG. Leonard is backup RT. Clapp is backup center, but has to make the team first.

And yes, LeRibeus is probably done, assuming Clapp stays to be the backup center. Bushrod is backup guard for sure. Wont be Clapp.

he could... I'd prefer Clapp to focus at Guard/Center play.

Harris has always been bad. Leribeus was just ok.

I think Bushrod, Leonard, Clapp are the backup guys.

Forgot about him. Has he ever played Center? Will we keep Clapp for Center backup? Do we typically keep 8 OL on the active roster?

This is all a little over my head, but as far as depth goes, at this point don't we pretty much have to assume that Peat takes over for Armstead quite often? If that happens are we deep enough to survive, say, Peat breaking his leg again?

Don't forget about Cameron Tom. The team is very high on him. They activated him tot heir 53 so he wouldn't get poached off the practice squad.

Right now I would agree that Peat backs up Armstead and Bushrod fills in for guard. Ideally I think they would like to flip Ram over to LT and plug in someone at RT, but Leonard or Bushrod would have to be that guy and that s a lot to as at this point.

Whatever happened to the high hopes for Landon Turner and Jack Allen UDFA signings from a few years back. I take it that after all the hype that they were UDFA for a reason?

Genuinely asking not a smartass post.

Currently without knowing how the picks pan out:

LT
Armstead
Peat
Ram

LG
Peat
Bushrod
Tom

C
Unger
Tom

RG
Warford
Bushrod
Tom

RT
Ram
Bushrod

If both picks work out:

LT
Armstead
Peat
Ram

LG
Peat
Bushrod
Clapp

C
Unger
Clapp
Tom (if we keep 9)

RG
Warford
Bushrod
Clapp

RT
Ram
Leonard
Bushrod

Having flexibility on the Oline will be the key to our success this year.

Sean Payton mentioned in a Q&A that he could see using Leonard's athleticism in the Jumbo role. Get ready for a 3 TD year from him.
