God, I took a nap and we're still in the fifth.

What does that have to do with lateral quickness and athleticism

WTF are the Browns doing picking all these WRs? Half of them won't even make their team

I think it's pretty clear last year's draft emphasized quantity and this year is about quality. I think they expect those top 3 to contribute significantly early

Taking that dart approach so many here seem to prefer.
Take six and keep one or two. Much better use of resources.

Carolina is doing the same thing at CB. Three selected hoping one sticks.
Seems they were too hasty in letting Norman go.

Browns had something like 12 picks. I think At least 3 stick

The Browns WRs made ours look like All Pros. They are throwing everything they have at it and hoping 3 are good.

they'd be better off trying that approach on QBs

Is Avery Young a possibility at guard?
Seems to have played all across the line and doesn't seem to project as a right tackle.
Big frame and 326.
Would be drafting a tiger.
Any Auburnites know anything about this cat?

Picking 8 or 9 guys and keeping 3 or 4 of them is much better than picking one guy really high and then cutting him one year later (Stanley Jean-Baptiste). I don't trust the Saints front office to make precise, accurate evaluations with one or two guys that they decided to trade up for. (BTW. Brandin Cooks was not worth spending two first round picks on.)

We didn't spend two firsts on Cooks.
Nor Ingram.

The Rams just took WR Michael Thomas.

Pretty sure it was Rob Ryan's fatass that pushed for SJB

They fell in love with his measurables and potential.
He should have never been a second round pick but you could see what they were going for.
Shouldn't take potential until the late third/fourth or later imo.
