P.J. Hill was the next Ron Dayne. Ron Dayne was fat and out of shape. I think Dixon could be a lot like Deuce after he came back from the 1st surgery. I'm not even saying we take a RB, but if we lose 1 or 2 than we have to draft someone. If all of you think Dixon isn't good then who do ya'll think we should draft?
I asked for ya'lls opinions so I could add/drop names and add things to each guy's description.

IMO, speed rush DE first and foremost unless there is an absolute dominant DT on the board, and Suh will be long gone. The only reason I even say that is with Suh and Ellis, that eats up 4 OL. Someone is free to rush the backfield.
Anyhow, if there is a dominant speed rusher in the draft, take him. Try to work a deal with Grant. He's pretty much all hype at this point.

RB's?
Dwyer is the nest Deuce McCallister.
Dixon is a bad 40 time away from going undrafted. He has a lot of work to do to become a 3rd RD pick. Thats just my opinion. He looks like a 4.7 guy. Slow.

Charles Scott or KW even. Lagarette Blount

True. I originally thought of Keiland but then I thought of needs and we still don't have a guy we trust in short yardage situations. Payton frickin used Reggie again against the Redskins on a 3rd and 1 and I almost frickin lost it. Bell and Thomas don't have the build for those situations anyway, but they are atleast a better option.

My dream draft:
1st Round - Sean Weatherspoon OLB Missouri
2nd Round - Vince Oghobasse DT Duke
3rd Round - Javier Arenas CB/FS/KR/PR Bama
4th Round - Best Available Offensive Lineman
5th Round - Harry Coleman OLB/SS LSU
6th Round - Ryan Perriloux QB Jacksonville St.
7th Round - Traded to Pats for TE David Thomas.
Analysis of my Pics:
1. Sean Weatherspoon - Can come in and start right away. Can play both outside linebacker spots in an upgrade over Scott Shanle.
2. Vince Oghobasse - Saints Run D is weak, we all know that. We need someone we can line beside Sed Ellis and clog up the middle.
3. Javier Arenas - We need a very good return man. This man is the best in the SEC. Just imagine a great return man to go with the Offense to set up the offense in great field position.
4. You can always use offensive line depth, and who knows you might find a diamond in the rough.
5. Harry Coleman - Is a tackling machine. The Saints needs someone who can make a difference on special teams coverage. Harry Coleman is the definiton of Special Teams ace.
6. Ryan Perriloux - Ryan without the off field troubles is a first round talent. With them he is a Rookie Free Agent. However some NFL GM is going to take a chance on him, so why not the hometeam Saints. A huge boom or bust pick.

So far Ryan has had a life in the mold of Chris Henry. However if Ryan gets his mind right. He can be just like a Donovan McNabb clone. All this is in Ryan's hands.
I believe Sean and Loomis can get Ryan's mind right.

I would rather bring Doug Nussmeier out of retirement.

No way. Dixon can't play an entire game at running back for MSU. He's sloppy and out of shape. He is a very impressive runner for two or three series a game, but that won't translate to a servicable back in the NFL. I think the Ron Dayne comparisson is a pretty good one.

I actually liked that one. I like the Dexter McCluster thought as well. Use him like Minn uses Percy Harvin.
