I know they played at Shreveport vs Dallas and at Jackson vs the Colts due to the Superdome not being ready.

There isn’t a lot of juice in preseason games regardless of location BUT do yall think playing a preseason game in Shreveport vs Dallas or in Memphis vs the Titans would be beneficial for fans?

There’s plenty of saints and cowboys fans in Shreveport that would likely show up on a hot August night to watch some preseason ball.

Same thing with Memphis but to a lesser extent. Just something to generate a little interest in the preseason.

The teams would probably hate the logistics of it but I would be fine if every preseason game was at a neutral site or in random places.

Hell, they can play them on airline drive.

It’s really just scrimmages to determine which practice squad guys make the roster. They should be cool with playing the games wherever.

Some fans in other cities in the region don’t get a chance to make it down to Nola to see them in person so it presents a good opportunity for them. Plus tickets would be a fraction of the price and it’s good for the local economy in Shreveport. Keep the $ in state.

Sure it may benefit fans but Gayle isn't giving up pre-season ticket sales to season ticket holders get few more fans in north LA. Pre-season is nothing but a money grab for owners.

It would be beneficial in that season ticket holders wouldn't have to pay for tickets but I'm sure they would just raise the regular season tickets to get the same amount.

Watching that game you’d never imagine how the script would flip the next time the two teams met in December.

I’ve posted this a few times. I totally agree with you.

Play a preseason game at Mississippi Veterans Stadium in Jackson, play a game at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, play a game at Liberty Stadium in Memphis. Even at Ladd Peebles in Mobile, it would be a lot of fun.

Man, if they come to Mississippi, go to OM or state.

ETA... I was at the colts- saints preseason at veterans, and they butchered it. I missed the whole 2 quarter trying to get a beer

Preseason is for bringing the family or just saving some money by eating the tickets.
