Alshon Jeffrey has asked to be traded out of Philly. 6'3 220lb big body wideout that can easily step into a #2 role but can be a #1 when needed. Great red zone threat too. Problem with Jeffrey is he will miss games in the season, probably something we don't want to risk.

The other option I'm more interested in is Taylor Gabriel who was released by the Bears. He had a fast Willie Snead type rise in ATL. He also was injured last season a bit but he was very healthy in every other season. He gives me that Lance Moore, Snead type vibe which we are missing. Great intermediate route guy with solid speed and hands.

Weird when you realize Gabriel is relatively the same size as TLL but plays much bigger and is physical. He wins jump balls, takes hits, and is a great route runner. I'm assuming Gabriel is what Payton was hoping TLL could be.

Jeffrey meh, dude can’t stay healthy for shite plus I don’t want a butter fingers moment like he did with Philly to give us a win. Now Gabriel I wouldn’t mind and he would be cheap.

Thomas
1st rounder
Cook
Gabriel
Kamara
Taysom

I’m good with that. Also Dez Bryant has been looking great.

talented guy but man-o-man.. only 3 times in his eight year career has he played a full 16.

You mean Alshit? Or All-shite? Because that what you get with him.

why even mention jeffrey then, its pretty much a full consensus he isnt desirable so you should have just stuck with the "should we" on gabriel and im thinking its hard to argue he wouldnt be a nice upgrade over what we have and most likely sign at a discount price

I’d add Amari Cooper but not sure we have enough cap space to sign him.

The Saints need to spend big money on a second WR. Going cheap and hoping to find a gem will result in another season of Michael Thomas carrying the load

But who?
There really aren't many viable options this year

Demarcus Robinson is going to get a decent contract

Out of that entire list, I'd go with
The Bourne Ultimatum
