Whats already proven that his weight is a direct cause of his injuries?

Zion. He stated that his conditioning and weight has contributed to his injury issues and recovery.

Would less weight help his injuries?

Yes.

I honestly think the way he plays inside the added muscle helps

It's an incredible advantage. But it comes with trade offs, such as being more vulnerable to injury, less stamina and flexibility.

But you can’t say thats proven by any means.

Yes we can. It's a proven scientific fact. There is not one expert or knowledgeable person that would try to claim there is not a correlation.

“Zion. He stated that his conditioning and weight has contributed to his injury issues and recovery.”

- where did Zion specifically say this? Especially the part referring to his weight causing injury issues. These are just inferences you’re making.

Having correlation between weight and injuries in the average person is not the same as saying Zion’s weight directly caused all his injuries. If you actually look what I wrote- I stated that MAYBE true but no one knows for certain that his weight was the direct cause; theres a difference between correlation and direct cause. For instance playing basketball is a correlation to his injury as well.

The Arenas live show.

He is poorly prepared and out of shape (self admitted).

Where are you going with all of this? They had to put a weight clause in his contract. He has depression due to body image issues. It's a thing. It's not going away..

He did not say that specifically in the arenas show. You literally are putting words in his mouth. He basically said he has to diet better and take care of his body. Not at one point did he say that his weight led to his injuries.

Again he never admitted he was out of shape and not prepared. He said he needs to do a better job with his diet and his body. Again this is all your interpretations of what he said.

Yes there is a weight clause because the team wants him to weigh less. Again there is no direct evidence that the weight was the direct reason he got hurt. It could be a factor as well as other things like I stated before.

Lol now he has depression because of body image issues? When did he or anyone state he specifically had depression because of body image issues. He mentioned he was affected by social media talking about his weight - I guess that means now he has depression.

I’m sorry you literally run with assumptions to prove a point.

Even a "bad" game from Zion, he's usually our best player.

we all know this already... it's not his ability on the court that we worry about.... it's his ability to get on the court and stay healthy that is the cause of concern...
