Does he have to quarantine upon returning to the bubble? For how long?

I'd assume so. The last part of the tweet also seems like Zion won't be there for Jazz game.

I believe 10 days, and have several negative tests.

frick this season. The season I buy tickets, a pandemic happens. Now Zion leaving. I bet he doesn’t play when restart happens.

Virtually impossible for him to make that. He may miss half of the games at this point.

Sending all the best to Zion and his family. If Zion returns to the NBA's Disney campus, he'll need to quarantine for four days if he receives negative test results for seven days prior to his return, per the NBA's Health and Safety Protocol. Otherwise, it's a 10-day quarantine.

Via KOC on Twitter

So he's *probably* out for Utah

ETA changed definitely out to probably

Think of it as buying season tickets for 2022, since the pandemic portion got credited to next season, which may also not have fans.

Someone explain this to me like I'm 5.

The first scenario is 11 days, the 2nd for an unexcused is 10...

Depends on how long he is gone. But, I'm willing to bet he misses first game.

Maybe it's 11 days for excused then 17 days for unexcused.

I would imagine that if he got 3 tests done personally the 3 days before his return and then got a test each day of his 4 day quarantine... that should mean he would be good immediately at the end of the quarantine, no?

frick life. Depending on how long he’s gone, he could possibly be back for the first game. Not counting on it though.
