Is Zion still chasing games played to guaranty the rest of his contract or is that still in play?

If an injury now keeps him away from that here’s hoping it’s a Michael Thomas level ankle sprain.

The NBA has revenue sharing, meaning small market teams like the Pelicans receive a check in the Millions ( some sites estimate it anywhere from $20 - $40 million a year ) So while I understand that top NHL teams rival small market NBA teams in terms of finances, I still believe that a NBA team should be able to attract better overall staffing
As far as the director of special events leaving the NFL for the NHL for better pay, I can assure you that if the NFL wanted to match or exceed the NHL’s offer, they could have easily. Maybe they figured they could find a replacement way easier than paying them more…..on the flip side of that, the NHL probably wanted to pick a director straight from the top of the sports world (NFL) and nothing else!
