shouldn't be that hard for a 21 year old to get back into perfect playing shape.
I think you are somewhat right. He should definitely get back faster than most people. But if he was 50-60 lbs overweight, that's is going to take months. Supposedly he didn't get started until sometime in December. I was hoping for sometime early next month he'd be back and start training. Maybe make the last 10 or so games.
No matter what, I want him in freakish shape for next season. I want a documentary following him in his quest. I'm talking Corey Magette level cut. Like 230 lbs with veins popping everywhere. That is where he needs to be..

It means he heard that Zion lost weight from Trajan but he didn't see it himself so it's kind of hard to believe.

It’s coming boys. We may look back at this recovery time in Portland, as the time where Zion learned how to take care of his body. Could be the turning point…

IMO, a version of Zion that is still playing at 29 or 30yrs old is on that has learned how to take care of himself at a high degree mentally and physically. He's still very young, and learning. I know I would've done a lot of things different if I could go back to that time...

If Chris Pratt, an actor, can go from fat to ripped by training for a few months, you would think an elite athlete could do even better
Chris Pratt also took drugs that would get Zion suspended.

Is Zion even a threat to be tested right now? The NBA has kind of a joke PED testing program, IIRC>
