He talks all the time about just wanting to play basketball, and maybe he does, but part of playing basketball is practicing and working on your craft, and that ain't happening.
He's like Griff, don't believe anything he says.

Zion says a lot of shite, it's all nonsense. He doesn't do or follow through or live by any of the shite he says.

My best friend(not a Pels fan) has been telling me this for 3 years, and I've always told him he was wrong. He's probably right lol.

I mean its crazy I see all this talent on our team and the type of basketball we play is boring and without any sense. Its not fun to watch and for Zion probably not fun to play- especially when your losing.

I get everything you're saying, but I just can't see TSpoon as the reason Zion goes from MVP caliber to just a solid player.

I think that there are likely five or six reasons, and this is one of them.

But we've seen evidence before that Zion can get depressed and down on himself. I think that's what is going on with him now. I think that Zion needs to see a good sports psychologist as much as he needs a new trainer and dietician. I think a lot of it is in his head ... and T-Spoon helped keep his head straight in the past.

I get that Zion is playing some of his worst ball now, but we say TSpoon helped him, but it's not like we were all happy with Zion while she was here. We all had the same concerns about him being out of shape and not taking things seriously even when she was by his side.

I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this in the comments but December of last year to this December, the biggest difference, is BI didn’t play all of December last season lol. So…

If Zion is that mentally weak then just move on.

Crazy thst I see his career trajectory looks more like Ben Simmons than Giannis

I mean, we all know that Zion is mentally weak. Last season, his depression kept him from rehabbing his injury properly, and that's why he wasn't able to come back before the end of the season.

Willie doesn't know how to use Zion. He runs zero sets for ZIon when it matters, the offense does not run through Zion. Willie doesn't know what he's doing.

The offense runs through Zion. And even when it's not going through Zion, you need sets that incorporate Zion. Willie barely runs sets for Zion, and when Zion won't initiate, Willie parks him in the corner.

Missing a decent facilitator like Lonzo?

May be sick of being a secondary player to BI. Willie seems more comfortable with BI.

No doubt. Zion is human. When I wonder into thinking maybe I’m not fulfilling my potential, maybe my career isn’t going as well is I want, I get depressed.

Zion is probably dealing with the same thing at the moment. He simply isn’t good enough at the single thing he is supposed to be great at. Hopefully he can persevere through, improve, and change that narrative.

Or he can lean into it and wallow.

Who knows. I’m fast losing interest in caring. Zion has this year to turn it around for me or I truly hope the Pels do what they can to blow up their big three of Zion, Ingram, CJ.
