mortgage the future

My original post of Hayes and this years first is far from mortgaging the future. I understand some people don’t want to pay him what he probably wants and that’s reasonable

I would trade 13 for Myles Turner but not with Hayes.

2 high 2nds might get him in all honesty.

The idea of turner is to get a 5 who can optimize zion. Someone who can stretch Offensively, rebound, and defend on the other end.

No, it won't. He's not on a terrible contract. Two 2nds is not going to get him. A #13 is about right for him, actually.

Turner is invisible during 80+% of his minutes. People want to trade assets for this? No thank you

It's not a bad contract looking at it with the current cap situation, but I'm going based off a lower cap over the next few years since we know they're losing money and it won't grow.

If so, than that becomes more problematic of a contract. Especially if they intend on keeping oladipo. They'd essentially become a tax team next year

I like picking up Turner w/o giving up Jrue. Modern day Big Men develop late for some reason. Turner is 6’11 250 with a decent stroke from 3 and only like 25 ...... I’ll buy

Let’s say we’re ready to contend a year from now and looking to bring in the guy to put us over the top. Let’s say it’s Devin Booker, who has decided he needs to get out of Phoenix.

What’s more valuable to the Suns: Hayes, 13, and a plethora of picks, or two years of Turner for $35 million and the picks? Of course it would take more, but let’s keep it at that.

Keep in mind they just traded their best player and realize they won’t be competing anymore, so they want young guys and picks, just like the Pels got.
