Could we avoid calling the guy “trash”? I know this is a message board where fans post their grievances, but still …

It’s hard to keep up with the prevailing mood. For awhile, Willie was great, and people also asked for more Nance. Now both are horrible.
I think I’ve sustained whiplash from the back and forth.

This is just avoiding obvious issues with this team.

The irony is anyone thinking he was good purely based on a small stretch of basketball they played his first year.

He is a coattail rider. He will look good when his players like BI get hot and don't actually need to be coached. They will then have awful stretches when the team struggles, and not get out of it because their coach is a total moron.

He is basically a worse version of Marc Jackson.

I was at the game last night. Watching in real time in person I had so many questions. Why did we completely abandon point Zion to start the game. In the first 6 minutes of the game before Zion came out, he brought the ball up 0 times and had one FGA. The JRE/Larry front court was horrendous in the first half. Why, why, why did we go back to it in the second half? In the third quarter, he pulled Zion with more than 6 minutes to go and did not get him back in until the start of the fourth. We proceeded to lose a 12 point lead in that time. No only did he not play Zion in that stretch, didn't call a timeout, but he also allowed Vucevic to look like he was first team All-NBA because he was doing whatever he wanted with Larry on him. How did he not make an adjustment to not allow Coby White to be wide open multiple times down the stretch? In clutch time, Zion drives and gets Herb a wide open (made 3), an and one, and a layup. We of course didn't get stops then take a timeout. Our next two possessions began and ended with Ingram. We didn't score.

We know why unfortunately.

No extended minutes for Val, or even Zeller minutes or the most obvious, more Zion at center minutes was wild.

Bingo.

I posted a couple of times in other threads where someone recapped the possessions the final 5 minutes, basically exactly what you said. Go to Zion, good. Don't go to Zion bad. So naturally, when Zion got us back into the game, we then went away from him the next 2 possessions.

I think this is the best from WG.

If it’s another bounce from a play in game or not making the playoffs at all, there absolutely has to be a change at head coach.

This is the 3rd game Antonio Daniel's is saying JV can't be stopped 1 on 1 we are extending a lead to 12 as soon as the words leave his moth Willie has Larry go to the table.

Willie is a mush. This team will not go far with him driving the bus.

Vuc absolutley abused Nance at every opportunity. I could not understand what in the world Willie was thinking.
