I mean we went toe-to-toe with the defending champs without two of our main pieces. And our rookie was phenomenal.

They were missing their second best player and losing by 18 is not going toe to toe with them. Kudos to Hawkins though- love everything about that guy.

The whole second half was basically nuggets. Sorry going toe to toe to me anyways means its a close game at the end. It wasn’t a close game at all late in the fourth.

The quote was about the rebounding that Willie said before last nights game, Zion went into the game and played FAR better on defense and was fighting for rebounds. So yes, the message got through to him.
