Was looking for a team to improve every night, but kept losing the same way over and over again every night. Still looking for this with JB.

Overall good short period of time for Louisiana sports.
Pelicans -Willie Green gone.
LSU football--Brian Kelly gone.
Saints--Dennis Allen gone, Kellen Moore hired.
LSU baseball. Set
Women's basketball. Set
Men's basketball. ... hopeful

You have to give it more than a back to back where they were only able to have one glorified walkthrough before hand…
Y’all can’t possibly think a coach can come in and change a mindset of a team in a day right?
They’re playing harder and faster, that’s the start JB said he wanted to see

This is pretty much the case in any sport when a mid-season coaching change happens. There is a natural shot-in-the-arm amongst the roster.
It hardly ever lasts long though, so it's going to ultimately come down to how good of an actual coach Borrego is.
History says, he's not a good one, but shite can change. I have little faith in him though and hope we make an outside hire this offseason. Promoting from within in a culture that is built on losing never works.

This is just absolutely false. He took the league’s worst team (yes there’s worse ones than is) and had them improving every single season, had their only season above .500 in the last 10 years.
There’s no evidence to say he’s a bad coach

If this were true, he wouldn't have had his agency running a PR blitz for him for the past 3 seasons... one that didn't work because he was trying for EVERY head coach opening.

PR blitzes in coaching circles don’t have you doing multiple interviews and being top 2-3 in finalists for a job.
PR blitzes are whats going on right now with “Pelicans are interested in Darvin Ham and Kevin Ollie”. They get one interview and that’s it
