Will Zion be able to stay at the 4?

Just a question for people that have watched him play more than me. He’s without a doubt athletic and strong enough but you don’t see a lot of 6’6” PF. Even that seems generous height-wise.

Depends on the team we have around him and who's healthy honestly.

It really doesn’t matter.
Barkley player PF at 6’4 and in today’s NBA, there really is no true 4 or 5 anymore. He’s athletic and big enough to guard Damn near anyone

In today’s NBA you absolutely do. Two of the best teams over the last few years have run out Draymond Green and PJ Tucker at the 4.
Today’s NBA is often 1 big and 4 wings. Guys who used to play the 3 like Carmelo and Harrison Barnes are now basically PFs

I hope so. Pels have a winning record when Ball, Favors, Ingram and Jrue are all in the starting lineup (5-1 in the last 6). This is the starting rotation we began the year with but we've had plenty of injuries.
We have some depth but if we stay healthy then that means Zion fits in at the 4 in that starting rotation and the Pels are a playoff and above average club.

He "plays bigger" and he's ridiculously strong and athletic. He'll be fine. That's where he can do the most damage.

I think it just depends on match ups. But overall I think he’ll do fine against guys who aren’t top 20 players in the league

Unless he wants to come off the bench?
Ingram is easily our best player and ain’t moving. Zion is the 4 for foreseeable future.
