Don't forget to type, "I never root for injuries, but..."

in a post like this. Everybody says it because its the right thing to say. If you don't offer that up, you are a monster.

Uhh I mean that's unfortunate. You never want to see someone get injured....

I don't wish injury on players.

But I'm okay with a player not playing vs us.

Wonder who they’ll plug in as their SF now, he was starting there because they have no SF.

ETA: the rookie I guess

I always ask people this: If you had the magical power to heal a player like Will Barton.... you are the only one in the universe who can wield whit power and fix him immediately, would you use it? If the answer is no, then by Joker logic, you are choosing to injure him and therefor it is something you want.

If Gurley got hurt tomorrow in practice and was going to be out for the Saints game and I gave Saints fans the power to heal him, they wouldn't. We all know they wouldn't. We don't "root" for injuries but we all also try to act like we aren't happy that teams on our level took a step down when they happen.

Its BS. We want other teams to be missing guys. Why can't we just say that?

Why resort to magic, they'll admit they aren't altruistic. Ask them if you were delivering food to a player and could give a player food poisoning making them miss a game or 2 would you do it. I think most fans would. I'm kind of surprised it doesn't happen more often, teams must control what players eat pretty well.

Of course I wouldn’t. In fact, I couldn’t care less if they played the entire 82 plus the playoffs with the opposing team missing its top player(s). At the end of the day I want the teams I like to win. People who speak on not wishing injuries on others or wanting to beat teams at their best are attempting to claim some sort of moral high ground.

The logic is different.

I don't want to cause an injury or headhunt to cause one. But if they're hurt, it doesn't make you a bad person to not wish they were healthy.

Which is worse?

The guy who sucker punches someone and walks away

Or

The guy who witnesses it and doesn't run across the room to pick the guy up

I want other teams to be missing guys
I also would vote to just play the kings 82 times

I’m not proud

The number 10 is higher than 8. That doesn't mean the number 8 isn't greater than 0.

By that, I mean that we all know that Tony Harding somebody is worse than just being happy that a team we are going against is missing guys. But we aren't even allowed to say this. As the other posters point out, there is always this moral high ground army that is just utterly annoying. Glad that they don't see to be on here.
