This is a joke. He’s playing most of his 2nd unit guys too. Shoulda ended it there. Mid season I bet under 48 wins for spurs. Need the spurs to take an L and worst I do is a push.

No. It doesn't. Jazz can still easily catch them, since they have the tiebreaker and another game with them. If Rockets or Spurs best the Blazers, then Portland will have to keep fighting for 3

Best case scenario the Pels win Friday and the Clippers lose back to back games to Jazz and Nuggets. That would eliminate them.
Pels would take on LA who was just eliminated. Have to like your chances in that one with which team wants it more.
Also beating the Warriors would resolve any of these scenarios.

all of a sudden because they're eliminated, doesn't mean guys are gonna sit or try less, nothing to lose at that point.
They could play spoiler, so I would rather be able to eliminate LAC ourselves with them helping us out with denver.

I don't even think about/worry about the Clippers.
Because if you don't finish the season ahead of them, then you don't deserve to get in anyway.
I am not trying to barely get in and get 8th, personally. That's as bad as finishing 9 or 10 IMO.
I am looking ahead of me. The goal is to finish 3-1 or 4-0 and get a 5 or 6 seed. 7 wouldn't be great, but I'll take it.
