At some point you going to have to quit defending him and realize the team could do better without him.

I’d take Jackson over Gentry. Not by much. I don’t want either.

Nancy Lieberman, she has already won a championship as a HC in Big 3.

I know it isn’t the NBA, but a championship coaching former NBA players is still something.

She could be the great rival to Hammon if she steps up behind Pop to become their future HC.

People should read up on Jackson’s time in Golden State, it is a miracle that team made it out the way they did.

I want Jackson as far away from our organization as possible. He is the closest thing to literal organizational cancer there has been.

he’s not the coach to take this team to the next level. Pop played games with him tonight

This. Mark Jakcson feuded with his staff openly, and he thought he could heal Steph Curry’s ankle through prayer.

The players were laughing at him by the end.

I think she’d a be great coach and would bring a lot of good noise and attention to the Pelicans that will help us in the long run. Look at who her mentor is.....she’s going to be strict as hell with them. Plus she wouldn’t have made it this far if she didn’t know her shite.

Larry Brown.

Bring him the frick back. The man knows how to coach a squad of misfits.

The coaching market is definitely running thin, but Gentry is not the answer.

Give Finch a shot. Think he'll be a HC at some point so why not be here.

Unless of course we have a chance at a real legit coach coming here.

Larry Brown.

he’s basically a corpse at this point. If y’all are gonna make threads about new coaches at least come up with some better ideas instead of guys who are either 80 or haven’t coached in almost a decade

Honestly Becky Hammond deserves an interview if we did let go Gentry. She’s incredibly smart and I think has earned her stripes as a assistant to move to the next level.

Becky Hammon is going to be a really good NBA head coach. People around here would flip. Some might even laugh but the fact remains is that several former players hold her in high regard and other coaches, including Pop, think very highly of her. Not because she’s a woman but because she coaches like she belongs there and deserves a chance.

Part of me wants to make the playoffs but also part of me knows if we do that we will keep Gentry. If we don’t, we could fire him and I hope we do. Pop isn’t going to coach for very much longer and the Spurs will definitely offer her the job. I hope we offer it to her first because she would definitely leave

Maybe we can get the best of both worlds where we make the playoffs and decides to step down for an executive position

yeah people who are actually around her and see how she coaches and how much she understands the game have nothing but respect for her. It’s only idiots who don’t even watch basketball that think she’s not good enough

There are posters on this board that are calling for Larry Brown to be an NBA Coach in 2020, 80 years after his birth.
