Pulling for the Heat. Love playing devil's advocate and can't stand the argument about him having to leave Cleveland.

You're dead to me. The Heat are everything wrong with today's NBA and one of the reasons CP3 wanted to bail on us.

Yes because wanting to live in Miami instead of Cleveland is so awful. Wanting to play for an organization that actually cares about winning a title is an insane concept.

The Cleveland organization is terrible. They had the most marketable and and arguably most talented player since Jordan for 7 years and they didn't do shite except ride his arse to fame and $$$.

He takes that team to the finals...leaves and they barely win ten games.

CP3 left bc this team and organization couldn't keep a coach much less an owner. It was unstable. I love the hornets, but I'm not going to blame someone for wanting to move on to another work location after 6+ years of carrying your team with no help.

I don't agree with whatever that thing was with him, wade and bosh (not 4, not 5, etc), but other than that, I don't blame LBJ for leaving Cleveland. Why wouldn't you want to play with the best?

I don't blame him either, he should have left.

The way he did it was terrible though

That's a dumb statement...Cleveland didn't care about winning a title? They were in the finals. They spent money on free agents

ya, leaving is leaving. The way he did it sucked.

...and it wasn't about winning. He could have won in Cleveland. Even with his bffs and their beloved big 3, he still has 0 titles.

Definitely agree.

And no, Cleveland did not drop the cash and go get legit free agents to put around him. They are poorly managed and Mike Brown is overrated as a coach IMO.

They went out and got Jamison and an elderly Shaq? Are you kidding me?

Celtics go out and get Garnett among other pieces.
Lakers go get Gasol among other pieces
Spurs draft well and put pieces around their stars

See a trend? Cleveland wanted to have their cake and eat it too and it bit them in the arse.

Ok, well I hope your Heat are successful, and then when the NBA turns into a 6 team league and the NBA in New Orleans will cease to exist because it won't be profitable, it'll be an awesome time for you.

Yeah, playing together for ONE year and making the finals makes them suck. Are you serious dude?

Jordan didn't get titles either til he got Phil Jackson coaching and had Pippen and other solid players around him.

Don't hate him just bc people tell you to. Form your own opinion.

So what's stopping superstars from wanting to go to the Clippers, Lakers, Knicks, etc. if the Heat dominate and win multiple titles in a row? If they can't compete on their own teams, why not team up with other stars to compete?
