Not resigning Pargo was the killer. CP3 said that shortly after his trade
I can believe that. I think breaking up that group in general that got them past the first round in the playoffs is what did it for them. I thought I saw D-West say the Chandler trade was the last straw. But maybe it was Pargo.
Anyway, to those of you who say he didn't try this season, watch this video with some of his highlights from last season.

He may not have been 100% every night but he won us plenty of games and did more for this team than many of you realize.

They are 2 games back of the 3rd seed

I was trying to talk about the actual team. They are not one of the best three teams in the west....but whatever. Three back of the 3rd seed still doesn't equal top three in the west.
In the playoffs, I will take Thunder, Lakers, Spurs, Grizzlies, and Mavericks over the Clips. If they get the Rockets, Nuggets, or some other team, they will be lucky and will probably make it out of the first round.
9-11 over the past 20.
...bunch of clippers fans in here.

They are casual fans who think they are a badass for booing CP3 because he's on another team. They won't even be at the game anyway

The Chandler trade certainly fricked us, but to be fair, he played like a huge poon his final year with us. I don't know if he was healthy or not, but still...
We would be a completely different team right now if that first trade went through. Forgot who it was with, but it was basically Chandler for two expirings, and someone failed a physical.

Who was involved in that trade? I forgot who the other players were.

I love how everyone hates on CP3, but gives D West a free pass. Apparently because CP played like a "poon" last year. CP gave the organization a heads up and went just like he said he would. D West just walked. I love them both, but just saying there's clearly a bit of a double standard here because it's "cool" to not like CP3 now. I understand being bummed both of these 2 aren't Hornets anymore for sure. Trust me. To boo either one though is classless, and just makes us all look like idiots. You don't have to clap, but there's no real need to boo either one of these guys that played their asses of for New Orleans.

I blame Shinn more than Bower. However Bower was pretty bad too.

I plan on starting a massive standing ovation for Mr. Christopher Paul. I think I might need to take out the BeeZanies to accomplish this. Who's with me?
I'm going to boo Chrissy Poo and I'm going to boo your sorry arse. GTFO! Maybe Blake Griffin would let you give him a hummer.

Don't worry about vaGyno. He just gets off on trolling and playing a superiority card on the internet.

There is something wrong with demanding a trade but notice he never did that.
Maybe publicly, but he had his party of merry muchachos running around doing it for him. That's the part that really bothers me. He went about everything like a bitch. He used his Lebrongency to do the bad guy tasks while he played dumb "Oh, no sir, I would never want to leave the Hornets. I love New Orleans. I want to be here until my children die."
Meanwhile, his handlers are making it known that he wants out. When the Hornets do start seeking to trade him, he and his group devalue him on the trade market by insisting on which teams he would play for. When he saw he couldn't force his way to NY, he started devaluing other trades by saying he won't resign (even with the Clippers deal). This, again, assured minimal value for the Hornets.
Sorry, I enjoyed his time here, but it is over and he chose to go out by screwing the Hornets without lube, and for that he can kiss my arse.

Alright, even though bigtime is clearly Hugo's alter, I agree with him. When I watched that video the Hornets made for DWest, I couldn't help but notice how much CP3 was right there next to him. He was always around helping out in the NO community, which was much needed after Katrina. He is a great guy IMO and a great basketball player, and he may be one of the reasons the Hornets were able to stay here after Katrina. I know that him leaving was purely a business decision and think he definitely misses this place. If you remember his introduction to the Clippers, he spent the first couple minutes talking about how much he loves New Orleans. I still respect the guy and hope he wins a championship one day. If I could go to the game against the Clippers, I would be on my feet cheering for CP3 when he is introduced.
