The sadness comes from the defense, not offense IMHO

And the numbers say the biggest defensive issues are the combo of Rondo/Boogie and Moore playing SF. Both can be addressed by the deadline.

There's a reason why he leads the NBA in turnovers. He's allowed to.

One can say well, they don't coach that but he does what he wants anyway. And therein lies the rub.

Watching the Grizzlies game now. Boogie does two things on offense. Both start at three point line. He either jacks one up or crossover dribbles into three opposing players and bulls to the rim and falls to floor.

Exactly, It's like a recurring nightmare. I guess the coaches long ago gave up and decided there's nothing we can do about it.

Yea, he overcommits and charges, or overcommits and has to throw a shite pass, and that’s only if no one gets a hand on his dribble first

The coach has to be able to reel him in though because he is effective on the low block, and the open 3s in rhythm are fine, but the offense can’t run through him at 25-30 feet out

I like Boogie on the perimeter. It has given AD plenty of room to work. I also think Boogie has done a good job transitioning to the post or getting the ball to AD when his shot isn't falling. He has been nothing short of awesome on offense. Now on defense.....
No man's land, late help, late/indecisive on the pick switch. Our D is bad enough with an undersized 3, Boogies D has had a big impact on that end.

I think his league leading turnovers on offense that often lead to easy buckets on the other end at least contribute to the defensive issues. Certainly don't help.

Now no doubt there, he could give two shits about defense other than getting a board to pad his numbers.
