What about the Pelicans sending a package that includes Lonzo Ball, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Jaxson Hayes, a 2021 first-round pick, a 2022 first-round pick, a 2023 first-round pick, and the right to swap first-round selections in 2023 to the Trail Blazers in exchange for Damian Lillard?
Sure, i'd do that in a heartbeat.

The issue is that Lonzo has to want to do that as well as Dame, because Portland isn't trading him unless he's demanding out, and even then, I'd guess New Orleans won't be very high on the list of teams he wants to go to. And while technically it doesn't matter where he wants to go, we all know when it comes to being traded, that is a factor.

I’d want to keep Jaxson

Keeping NAW would be nice though
If you want Dame, you're going to have to give up the pieces you want to keep because those will be the pieces the other team wants.

Morant

I doubt it.

he showed interest in 3 pt shooting in playoffs.
his family is happy.
hes happy.

if he learns the ordinary jump shooting form he becomes 2nd team all nba.

I think it's more likely than your proposed trade that both morant and zion go together to Carolina after they can be fa.

True, I’d prob cave and give them NAW and give them an extra 2 firsts not to take Jax. Maybe that would be tempting enough.

This is a stupid thread and is exactly what the media and large market teams want you to put out there or think.

If we or all the smarket teams have to keep trading their stars a few years after drafting them, bc its inevitable they will go to the usual big market teams, then the League needs to contract to about 16 teams and let us find another sport to gain interest in and secure a franchise. Maybe MLS or MLB will want to give it a chance in the N.O. At least in baseball you have a chance regardless of market with solid scouting.

So lets trade Zion for another lesser star and picks, who may turn into another star, only to repeat the cycle. Count me out.
