Goran Dragic, really?
It’s kinda sad how some of you are so shellshocked
You really are an idiot.

I like how much Lonzo has progressed

You can tell he has great knowledge of the game,

He is a great rebounder and might be the best long outlet passer in the league.
What part of that sounds like i didn't think he improved? You claiming he improved his FT shooting from shitty to still really shitty is hilarious.
I was probably the biggest Lonzo hater around when we traded for him. I like him now, and i think he's going to get better, and i love the way he plays with Zion. I really wish we would make the playoffs this year b/c i really want to see him in the playoffs before i completely dismiss him as a nice NBA player for the foreseeable future. His decision making, FT shooting and complete inability to finish in the lane makes me think he is going to be a big liability in crunch time come playoff time. I really could care less how well he does in the regular season if he can't be productive in the 4th quarter of a playoff series.
I just don't think he fits with Jrue well at all, and one of them has to go, and i'd rather keep Jrue. As others said, i think Lonzo is going to want a dumb contract, and some idiot team is going to give it to him, and i don't want it to be us.
Goran Dragic is a good 3 point shooting PG that can get in the lane and actually finish. He's no elite defender, neither is Lonzo, but he's not bad by any means. He won't be asked to guard anyone good anyway. I said i wanted to draft the PG of the future, not have 33 year old Goran Dragic be the PG of the future. There's nothing wrong with having veterans around our young team, especially ones that still average over 16 points a game.

The problem isn't Lonzo or Jrue.
First off we need a veteran PG coming off the bench. A D rose or Pat Beverly would be great for us.
We also need a true 7 footer to take pressure off our guards and go up for easy rebounds/ shots.
We could also use a defensive wing at the 3 but I think backup PG and a C are higher priority considering Ingram/ Hart.
Lonzo/ veteran/ NAW
Jrue/ Redick (for now) / Didi/ Jackson
Ingram/ Hart/

In a realistic world
Fred vanvleet - can knock down 3s and space. Above average ball handler. Decent defense
