We're 0 for 4 seasons in that regard, so who is truly irrational here?

I'd argue we're proving this season is 0 for 5 in that this season, solid record and all, is showing our weakness is at the 1-2, and we're good 3 through 12. But obviously that'll remain to be proven.

Correct, I'm being rational but some folks on the other side refuse to have that rational discussion and prefer to just blindly think BI is a #2 and won't hear any argument to the contrary.

The BI ball stopper narrative is
way overblown. He makes timely plays every game. Shooting, steals and the occasional timely block.

Are we watching the same games?

For every clutch shot he makes, he misses 10 in the last few minutes.

We’re watching the same games, but
I’m more objective.

Is it? I'd argue:

30:42 - .417
31:41 - .431
36:46 - .439
42:40 - .512

That's the Pels' W-L record and winning pct. over the past 5 seasons. An improvement every year and on pace for a 48-win season this year with a current winning pct. of .581.

For sure we'd all have liked to see quicker progress but don't think it's irrational to believe a team led by Husky and Slim can be a championship contender. *In fact, with a couple of tweaks I think they can be a championship contender this year*

As far as the #1 v #2, Alpha v Beta, or Batman v Robin arguments, that's just so corny and lame. You need great players for sure, but teams win championships, always have.

You know it's not normal for a good 1-2 to be that subpar for 4 years, right?

An MVP level player is a must.

Im not an instant grits guy. I admire chopping wood and carrying water. For sure, would have liked better records earlier, but they’ve stayed with it and I’m sticking with them. Curious, do you think they’ve maxed out? Or do you think there is rationale belief that this team can get and play significantly better?

I don't think they've maxed out.

I do think think maxing out is 1st round series win/2nd round exit with BI/Zion as the 1-2.

And if it continues being BI as the #1, I think maxing out is 1st round exit.

How do you call yourself a Pels fan and say something this stupid. He was really good against Phoenix in the playoffs. You should go back to irrationally banging on JV. Stick with the oldies.

As the team is currently configured I wouldn’t disagree but thats due more to consistency and leadership than talent. We’ve seen both BI and Zion lead stretches running off 9 ~ 10 win streak so I’m not of the opinion one or the other is not capable, just neither have been consistent that goes back to leadership.
