As long as Gentry is coach, fans should not have any expectations.

In reality, this season was lost when they held onto Gentry. He's not good at developing young players, and doesn't really adjust his scheme to the talent available to him.

This was the big issue with Griffin's "plan".

Your right. with that being said.

Overall wise, where did you expect us to be 23 games into the season with Zion?

Truthfully, without Zion? Around 0.500 with a couple of bad losses, but not the losses they've had.

The play has been awful and the team has regressed as the season has progressed despite playing plenty of mediocre to bad teams.

Losing while seeing improvement is one thing, but when you lose and actually look worse and worse as the season goes on, means something is majorly wrong.

You thought this team would be .500 without Zion?

Umm...

So you think with Zion we would be a top 5 seed...

Insane. We've played the NBA's hardest schedule to date.

Welcome to the club, Bradie. You are correct, of course. However, there is a fluctuating list of players who should be released/ traded and the coach who should be fired. Good things are ahead, I guarantee.

There has been no more overhype than usual for the start of a new season, with a new roster. How should they have promoted it?

We won’t bow down, but we’ll crouch a little bit.Hey fans, be patient. We’ll be upright eventually
They did the usual marketing. That’s all. Basically talked about a new beginning. No one guaranteed playoffs or anything close.

Griffin made it clear to anyone listening that it would take time, and he especially said they would develop Zion slowly.

Lol wrong. This board went FULL retard this summer. They even though Ball was gonna be really good.

We should be happy as shite right now.

BI is panning out. fricking win.

Draft picks will be high and Zion’s getting healthy. Win.

So what if we dont make the playoffs this year? Its common for teams to tank for a season. Especially when the team (us) has a bunch of picks in a loaded draft. Win.

Folks on here freak out, why isnt Favors playing? Etc blah blah. Its so we lose. Goddamn learn the nba.

Young players developing this year while we play them a bunch and lose is what we want. Once Zion got hurt everyone should have known this.

Except only like 1/20th of this board actually understands the way the nba works.
