I understand that.
Then why is it an issue? The Saints are a team in New Orleans. The FDL does not belong to them.

But in the sports culture, it has been associated with the Saints for 50+ years.
It sure has

Why would you want to share a logo with another team in the same city?
Because the logo symbolizes the city, not the Saints, except to the ignorant.

The Saints have a FDL the Hornets have a FDB. It's not like they went with a FDL in Creole Blue. I think there's enough distinction there that not many people view it as sharing a logo.

Jester is like that LB who is always going for the kill shot. He is always looking to lower the "boom!!!111" on me.
I conceded that he was a superior Internet being yet he still comes hard at me.

Well, if you don't know that the Fleur de Lis is a symbol of New Orleans and Louisiana, you are, by the very definition of the word, ignorant of its origin as the Saints' logo.

Fleur de Bee
All day. Everyday.
In France... on the seas and oceans... in the air... whatever the cost may be. On the beaches... on the landing grounds... in the fields and in the streets... in the hills.
We shall never surrender!

Like all great symbols, the fleur-de-lis has a rich history, a growing tradition, and kicks other symbols so that their testes become tonsils.

I really didn't mean to imply you were one of the ignorant. You had previously stated that you knew it was a regional symbol...

I want Hugo simply because it looks different from the Saints favorite team logo. I do like the FDB more though.

I do wish it stood out more, but I hate Hugo with a passion.
