The Pels still have talent.
Murray, Williamson, Bey, Jones, and Murphy are all players that teams would want to add to their starting lineups. Fears, Queen, and Missi are all young prospects teams around the league would desire. Coaching, youth, and injuries prevented the core of the team from really gelling and being assessed properly.
I can also see why they didn’t blow it up to add a center or other small piece. Everyone wants to take advantage of the team in trades to rob their roster talent because of the bad season and management turnover.

I just don’t see Draymond being a path to competing. They’re not getting out of the play in IMO, if they even get that far

His peak defense was what 5 years ago and has regressed every year since. But even at that cost it's still value to the ream rather than him not being there, their issue is honestly Jimmy being injured and Jimmy being paid 50mil

Well y'all got an old center that should be retired. I don't know what hell Dumars was thinking on that. Lol I guess to clear space for something!
