Take the package from Boston built around Tatum and picks, then trade Jrue to the Clips for a package around SGA. Seeing as Clips plan on building a title contender immediately, Jrue makes more sense for them than SGA anyway.
If Pels play their cards right, they can come out of this with Tatum, SGA, maybe 3 top 10 picks, including their own and 2 from Boston. They could also definitely get a good pick for Mirotic. See what Randle and Moore can fetch you.
The question becomes if fans are willing to wait for that team to grow. If Pels don’t believe fans will be patient, they will take the Lakers deal cause they would be at least decent with that group and Jrue.
If Pels play their cards right, they can come out of this with Tatum, SGA, maybe 3 top 10 picks, including their own and 2 from Boston. They could also definitely get a good pick for Mirotic. See what Randle and Moore can fetch you.

The 1-year rental thing is likely a very hollow threat. I think it's coming from the Lakers/LeBonk camp as much as AD's camp, but AD hiring LeBonk Unlimited as his agency confuses it all. If he refuses to resign with the Celtics, he loses a lot of money and the Lakers are put in a very difficult financial and roster situation trying to make room for him.

They are definitely giving up 2 picks. This is the specific reason they stacked those assets up. The negotiation will be which 2 they give up.
The biggest issue with AD staying with the Celtics is Kyrie. I think AD would stay if Kyrie stays. That’s something I’m sure those guys will talk about privately.

You get Simmons a known quantity, a first round draft pick and you place AD in Philly and deprive LeBron
