You watched a basketball game on your phone while you were driving?

At the beginning of the season NBA leaguepass mobile was 45$ for the season....$45 to watch en entire season of games on your phone is a fricking steal.29$ to watch the rest of this seasons games is worth it IMO

Yep...if the games were on fox 8 or WWL 4 then attendance and local interest would not be a problem

That doesn't happen in any NBA market. They are all on cable. You complain about "exposure", yet you aren't willing to make any effort to watch them.

I'm fine with paying for cable to watch the games just have the games on, at least the away games. Find it funny that I can watch all the rockets' games on FSN.

Network affiliates are not going to preempt network programming for local NBA games.

Correct.

It does seem, however, that CST is televising a few less games this year than usual.

I think its the same contractual amount, but in previous years when games were on TNT or ESPN, they didn't have to broadcast.

I don't blame them for this Golden State game, not really worth it for the low ratings it will have when it starts at 9:30.

A couple of weeks ago they televised high school girls volleyball instead. Not a joke.

Its a contractual amount of 65 games. Its breach of contract if they televise more. Maybe they can work out a different deal next year

I see people saying NBA League Pass...but last week DirecTV had league pass free for a week...and the Hornets were playing in ATL and I put on the channel and it was blacked out, and I live in Metairie. What exactly are the NBA blackout rules? Seems stupid that a road game would be blacked out in NOLA...

I don't remember, but if that game was being broadcast locally by CST it probably would be blacked out on League Pass. I think.

Maybe, but I thought all games were telecast by CST (except national ESPN/TNT games), so League Pass wouldn't do anything for me
