NOLA is a football city, will always be

This franchise has gone through quite a few transformations with ownership groups and brand changing

I think Chris Paul turning his back on the team really just left a rotten taste in our mouths for a while

Davis' talent needs to transform into this team winnning, its slowly happening.

Attending NBA games overall is a bit harder since many of these games are during the week and many of NOLA's fan base is spread out to northshore on out. Its difficult making week games with kids in school etc. Its just too much trouble some times.

There's just no authentic connection this team has to the city yet. Needs to happen some how through winning or a some sort of player/ coach type connection. We have a good shot at doing so with Benson owning and AD leading this team. But you can't force a football city into some sort of phony love.

A majority of the region is just very passive on basketball as a whole. See LSU bball etc. This isn't a basketball region. Having an NBA team for 10 years has been a very up and down circus so far.
