passive to fault, not aggressive, terrible finishing ability

he didnt exactly live up to expectations at duke. the potential is certainly there but he a high risk high reward guy. a big gamble at 4.

FG% isn’t the greatest stat but 35.6% for Cam Reddish this past season at Duke is atrocious.

I had very high expectations for him going into the duke season and tbh he was a major letdown. I still believe he has a lot of potential but he is definitely a questionable pick at this point.

I watched the guy play every game this season. He is terrible.

He looks like he should be a great player, but he can barely dribble and for a guy who is allegedly a shooter, I have no idea where he gets that rep. He shot 35.6 percent from the field, and 33.3 percent from 3 at Duke. In the Nike EYBL as a rising senior, he shot 40.1 percent from the field and 29.7 percent from 3. 77 percent free throw shooter in both.

His only strength is his defense. He is a good defender who can get steals and due to his size, he can switch onto bigger players without getting exposed. He can guard the 2-4 and even pressure point guards.

On offense, he is only "good" as a 3 point shooter (and his stats are quite pedestrian as you can see). He has no intuition when it comes to passing and he cannot attack the basket to save his life, unless it's in transition. He dribbles off his foot or into the hands of his defender far more than he makes an incisive play for himself or a teammate.

In the past decade, the only freshmen who have been more disappointing than Reddish have Chase Jeter and Marques Bolden.

I have been stunned throughout the year that his stock has largely stayed in the 5-15 range and in the pre-draft process it has been in the 5-10 range.

Above average shooter? Have you seen his averages?

Good size? Yes. What’s not to like? Basically everything else. Low IQ chucker, inefficient, limited game.

I don't think he is low IQ player. He can read passing lanes really well and didn't appear to complain about his limited touches. I think he actually knows he is a complete fraud, and the time is right for him to leave and take as much guaranteed money as possible before his stock craters.

I don't blame the kid at all. He really can't dribble the basketball to save his life in half court. He can run and jump and do some nice things on the open floor, but that's about it.

If we are going to take a guy with good d, nice size and very limited offense, I hope we get Thybulle in the 2nd round.

There's a ton not to like about Cam Reddish. I wouldn't touch him with a 10 ft pole.
