That's fair. As ATL mentioned, Bjelica is too old to give up a 1st. Rumors are the Heat and Sixers are interested, but I can't see them giving up a first either, as I imagine both teams will at least sniff around for Beal. So we may have a shot if it's just a bunch of 2nd's but we don't really have a young player they would want. They need a another wing and we have nothing to offer there.

The Kings won 6 in a row and everyone was talking about them possibly making the playoffs, and now they've lost 7 in a row and look like bottom-feeders.

Unless things turn around for them soon, they'll be selling at the deadline.

They obviously cut him to maximize flexibility. A player can only sign 2 10 day contracts with a team before they're required to offer a full contract. This won't get them all the way to the trade deadline, but kicks the can down the road some.
