I won't be surprised 1st time two teams play if mt5 destroys belli and the drunk.
I think its a good trade for us..just want people to stop sayn marcus didn't play d but act as if belli was ne better.
Still annoyed but as long as it makes us better I'm good.

They're just trying to squeeze in Jason Smith and Hassan Whiteside into the deal.

this is one trade that, if it doesnt show signs of being worth it very soon, fans are going to be pissed about. with marcus being a local favorite the timeline on people's frustration will be much shorter. hornets had better hope landry comes in and shows up quick. not saying i will be this way necessarily, but we all know how much the fan base loves marcus.

I would have rather seen Monty go and us keep Thornton. Monty is limited to coaching only one way and that is his way and not adjusting to the situation. When Okafor went down everyone could see that we couldn't defend the paint or really rebound. When you can't stop a team from scoring the only way to beat them is to out score them and that is what Marcus could have helped the hornets to do but Monty is to proud to adjust. I really wish we would have gotten Tom T instead of Chicago.

yeah that's usually a good talent for a guard, particularly a "shooting guard," to have

can't understand the coach's apparent dislike of Thornton, all the guy does is score

oh well

That's not all he does....he also gets routinely schooled on defense

Great deal. Hornets fans will LOVE this guy. Dude knocked Dirk out of commision for for a few games by smacking him in the shooting elbow with his teeth.

Needless to say...Dirk cried.

I would love to still have Landry in Houston. Nice pick up.

I've heard through the grapevine that Indiana is trying to get involved in this, maybe even to poach Landry. Anyone else heard this?

Could be talking about a number of Hornets players (DW, JJ, WG, TA, etc.) lately huh!

Every single one of those guys has better advanced Defensive metrics than MT if I remember correctly.

I wish we could have dealt Thornton to get Camby from Portland. Supposedly they're shopping Camby and Miller. I dunno Camby's contract and he can retire any day now, but I've always loved his defensive presence. Plus he can step out a shoot from decent range with his world's ugliest shot form.

Its odd for a coach to hate a fan fav. So much that it actually caused a divide in the fan base.
Marcus fans over blew how good his offense was consistently (even tho short leash could have sommethng to do with it)
They overblow every mistake belli/wg/jj made
Detractos of marcus overblow how bad his defense was (no worse than belli)
Overblow every mistake marcus made

Sounds like the fans' reaction to a particular QB situation at LSU.

Think we play the Kings 4 more times this year and twice in the Hive. I'm sure he will get a standing O. I'll be standing and clapping
