I don't remember if I said we would have a better record, I may have. I do not, however, believe that that is a "good way" to start the season, especially given our schedule.
go back and look at how the Heat started in Lebron and Bosh's first year with the team...8-7. it takes time to build chemistry and get that footing, doesn't matter the schedule. people need to chill. this is not a fully healthy team. give it two or three weeks, and everything will be fine.

monty needs to install some rick adelman principles when anderson returns.

A lot of new guys playing together and they are all very young. It was rough watching the game last night, but the talent is there. I have faith. Getting Ryno back will help as well. This definitely needs time. We are definitely no super all star team like the heat talent at that time, but there's a lot of potential and we haven't even scraped the surface. We all want the team to gel instantly, but realistically we should have been prepared for a slow start I guess. AD is looking stout. Dude is going to be so fricking good. That alone is keeping me so excited.

This team will find a rhythm soon, no doubt. But that doesn't solve the underlying problem.

I think everyone understand it's going to take a few games to get rolling. I don't think anyone is overreacting.
You Guys realize that Lakeview dude is a huge troll, yes?

yup, which is why I don't react to his stuff. i also decided to stay away from the board last night after the loss, though it was fun to watch the meltdown

there were about 2 pages of new threads with all kinds of new posters.

I definitely agree that there is no need to melt down after 2 games, but that doesn't mean that critiques can't be made. If you're losing and not questioning why you're losing and how to improve, then you will probably keep losing. But I'm excited about this team and look forward to seeing AD dominate this season.

it's the ranter with LSU's bye week. they needed something to bitch about to make their miserable lives worthwhile.

I can appreciate that. I'm all about morale. Just also would like to win games. It will come though. This team is staaaaaacked.

Holiday was a one man gang in Philly last year
Half of the year, and so far he has looked inconsistent as hell. It seems quite possible that the prognosticators may have been right about our trades, unfortunately. Hopefully they get it together, but maybe we were seeing what we wanted to see in them.

Vasquez was pretty good at that side of the lane floater, and Holiday and Evans clearly aren't as comfortable with something like that.
Impossible...

Pump the brakes there, Jimmy. We're just getting started.

I'm not giving up on the season, but I think we clearly need to bring our expectations back into check. Holiday, thus far, has not been the upgrade that was expected. He tip-toes around the paint and looks more like a catch-and-shoot guy than creator. I also want to see some sort of aggressiveness from him on the defensive end. I just haven't seen the effort from him.

You need to just let go of Vasquez, little buddy.
Holiday and Davis have been the lone bright spots on the team thus far. Embrace your new PG, he deserves it.
