We and the Blazers are now both predicted to finish 39-43 by 538. We're only slight favorites ahead of them to get the final playoff spot.

We have to win one of these next two tough games @HOU and MIL.

Lakers want none of the Pelicans in the first round.

I think we match up well with the Clippers as well.

Maybe we can illicit some real tears out of LeBron when we knock his arse out of the playoffs instead of those phony arse “tears” he was displaying last night. Did you see the sunglasses he was wearing in the press conference last night to hide his “tears”? When you’re that big of a narcissist you can’t have emotions for anyone but yourself. What a psycho.

Portland is looking great these last two games. I was hoping they’d lose one out of Lakers and Jazz but that’s not happening. Dame is playing out of this world.

frick dame and portland

it's so odd to me how the whole league watched the pelicans give them the recipe on how to completely shut down that team by doubling him off every screen and yet team after team continues to allow the guy to single handedly shaft them

Yeah, Portland is now favored to finish ahead of us for the 8th spot in 538's odds. They are at 50% and we are at 38%.

pels have Portland twice in three games, on the 11th and then the 21st before and after the ASB.

I think we should just go ahead and win both of those.

If this is why Portland is hot all of a sudden, it can't last much longer, right?

For real... Blazers and Dame need to chill out. We trying to make a run.

But if we take care of business against Memphis and Portland the next few times then we will be in position for the 8th seed.

Dont you all suppose the players see the standings?

Houston "needs" win vs pels.
They are in dog fight with mavs and thunder. Nobody wants clippers when healthy.

Mavs crushed atlanta even without luka and without Porzingas.
Their villanova guy brunson stepped up.
They will be a load when porzingas is back.

I think it's clear at this point Portland is the scariest team to worry about for the 8th spot. Huge wins over the weekend @ LAL (13pt dogs) and Vs Utah (7 pt dogs)

EDIT: Portland's remaining SOS is down to 22nd....borderline must wins vs them the rest of the way
