And hes paid accordingly. Wild that youre using this argument. Hes a winning player and a good piece on any team.

We are looking for the opposite of that and you can't do that until you finally get rid of the Jose's, with respect to him.

Jesus christ yes you can.

I'm using this argument because believe it or not it matters. We are the losing team. He does nothing for us.

And he has nothing to do with us losing. Exactly 0% his fault this roster is shite.

Could not be further from the truth and factually wrong.

shite at the top. Which means its absolutely asinine to believe the player at the bottom makes a difference.

He may have nothing to do with us losing but he also does nothing for us winning.

You replace guys at the bottom and hope that those assets become starters. Jose is one of those guys. He is not the guy at the top that makes a difference regardless of those guys at the bottom.

I'm not saying you trade Jose and keep Zion. I'm saying they all need to gtfo and be replaced with young assets who may actually lead to a winning franchise. Its only logical to start with bottom level assets and not from the top.

If you take all 30 NBA teams and have an open draft Jose isn't going before rd 8 in a best case scenario. Probably closer to Rd 10/11 considering all the young assets teams would rather take a chance on.

Yes, there is value in a 3rd string vet PG for mnimum minutes on a contending team vs rookies or other young inexperienced players. No that same player does not have close to the same value on a losing/ rebuilding team compared to young assets.

That is not a guy you make this much fuss about. And the reasoning even moreso. We are rebuilding and losing. You do not hold onto a 28 y/o backup in that situation.

You may want to keep him because you like him as a person and for the energy he brings but no, there is no real or logical basketball reason for him to be on this team in the current state.

Again, this is mathematically false, yet you refuse to acknowledge it.

They shouldn’t have any basketball games on Christmas.
