Easy win against the Warriors

LINK

quote:

oston - Despite sitting out Wednesday night's game against the Boston Celtics, New Orleans Hornets guard Eric Gordon said he will play Saturday against the Golden State Warriors. Although Hornets officials said Gordon did not play against the Celtics because of a sore right knee, he said it was only precautionary to avoid overextending himself from playing on consecutive nights.

What the hell? Since when did the Hornets say that he didn't play because of a sore knee? That's not at all true, it was always a back-to-back precautionary thing.

The official status may have been a sore knee, which is ultimately why they're avoiding back-to-backs. It's not that they're wrong, just that their information is a little misleading.

Yeah because a NBA team that can't put more than 13,000 in the seats a night is something to be proud of. What will the excuse be come Saturday? Hopefully PARDs doesn't have some Little League baseball going on.

From the team:

New Orleans Hornets G Eric Gordon will dress in uniform for tonight’s game against the Boston Celtics, but WILL NOT to play due to a sore right knee.

Bringing stuff up like this over and over while completely ignoring facts about what drives attendance could lead less charitable readers to think you daft.

That I understand, he was just posting the actual Hornets stance which I was unaware. Wish they would have worded it better but we know the intent and purpose of resting on back to backs.

It was kind of covered in the OP:

quote:

Although Hornets officials said Gordon did not play against the Celtics because of a sore right knee, he said it was only precautionary to avoid overextending himself from playing on consecutive nights.

Because the Hornets and 13-26 and there isn't interest in the team right now. How many times does this need to be said? As the team continues to improve, attendance will as well. Now calm the frick down. It'll all be ok
